Casino Queen Marquette Welcomes Sean Bateman as General Manager

Marquette, Iowa – Jan. 24, 2022 – Casino Queen Marquette, a picturesque riverboat casino located on the banks of the Mississippi River at 100 Anti Monopoly St., has announced the addition of hospitality and gaming industry veteran Sean Bateman as general manager.

In his new role, Bateman oversees day-to-day and casino operations of the lively riverboat casino. His responsibilities include providing leadership and guidance to department directors and team members to be successful in delivering exceptional service to guests, among other duties.

Bateman started his career in the hospitality and gaming industries as cage and casino manager at The President in 1991, later joining Jumer’s Casino and Hotel where he worked his way from cage manager to general manager. Bateman established his expertise in the hospitality and entertainment industries, serving as the director of operations at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, World Golf Hall of Fame and Museum, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino and VTrips.  He served as food and beverage manager at San Jose Country Club before becoming a part of the Casino Queen Marquette team.
