Hollywood Casino Baton Rouge Welcomes Matthew Shehadi as General Manager

Baton Rouge, La. – Oct. 26, 2022 – Hollywood Casino Baton Rouge, a thrilling riverboat casino docked on the Mississippi River at 1717 River Rd., has welcomed gaming and hospitality industry veteran Matthew Shehadi as general manager.

Shehadi brings more than 20 years of experience in the industry to his new role at Hollywood Casino Baton Rouge. He will work closely with team members throughout every department to ensure that all property goals and needs are met, as well as oversee the day-to-day operations of the casino.

Shehadi began his career in the gaming industry working in guest services and player development. Throughout the years, he gained extensive knowledge in the field by working as a slot guest service representative, director of operations and more. Prior to joining Hollywood Casino Baton Rouge, he served as vice president and assistant general manager at Station Casino’s Boulder Station Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.
