Casino Queen Marquette Donates More Than $3,000 to McGregor Hook and Ladder Co., No. 1

Marquette, Iowa – Dec. 22, 2022 – Casino Queen Marquette, a picturesque riverboat casino located on the banks of the Mississippi River at 100 Anti Monopoly St., recently collected more than $3,000 to donate to McGregor Hook and Ladder Co., No. 1 through generous donations from guests and team members.

Located in Clayton County, Casino Queen Marquette supports local organizations with charitable initiatives throughout the year. Throughout the months of July, August and September, Casino Queen Marquette team members raised funds through their Jeans Day Friday initiative, while casino guests were able to make donations through ticket donation boxes located in the casino. A total of $3,184 was raised for McGregor Hook and Ladder Co., a fire department comprised of volunteer fire fighters and located less than 2 miles from Casino Queen Marquette. The donation will go towards the purchase of a new fire truck, which is slated to arrive in March 2023.
