Casino Queen Marquette Donates More Than $3,500 to Rivers and Bluffs Animal Shelter
Marquette, Iowa – Aug. 7, 2023 – Casino Queen Marquette, a picturesque riverboat casino located on the banks of the Mississippi River at 100 Anti Monopoly St., collected more than $3,500 to support the Rivers and Bluffs Animal Shelter.
The Casino Queen Marquette team donated a total of $3,564 to the Rivers and Bluffs Animal Shelter, a nonprofit organization that provides quality care for animals in need and educates the community on responsible pet ownership. The funds will be put towards medical bills for the animals in their care, as well as improvement projects within the shelter.
Casino Queen Marquette team members raised funds through their Jeans Day Friday initiative, which encourages team members to donate to a selected cause. Casino guests were also able to support the fundraiser through ticket and change donation boxes located throughout the casino.
