The Queen Baton Rouge to Put a Twist on Traditional Valentine’s Day Festivities with Singles’ Soirée
BATON ROUGE, La. – Jan. 12, 2024 – Sick of swiping left, being stood up or just think Cupid is stupid? The Queen Baton Rouge will welcome singles and their sob squad looking for a high energy celebration and alternative to another candlelit dinner to experience “Cupid is Stupid,” a fun and highly social party that eschews the sappy romance of Valentine’s Day from 6 to 10 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 14.
The party will be held at 1717 KITCHEN + COCKTAILS, where sexy singles can mingle while enjoying live entertainment from DJ Ma3stro, who will keep the energy high with your favorite heartbreak and love-hating bangers. Festive cocktails will fuel the fun, along with a photo booth, tarot card reader and more. A specialty menu, which you won’t have to share with a former flame, will include selections such as Take Another Little Pizza My Heart flatbreads, Smoked CUPID Wings and Love Me Tenders with choice of sauce, Greek Goddess Frites, Slide(rs) into the DMs and more. Guests are encouraged to bring in a photo of their ex to contribute to the “Burn Box,” which will be ceremoniously destroyed at the party. One lucky winner will be crowned the “Cry Me A Cupid” Queen or King of the evening by sharing their worst breakup story. General admission tickets, priced at $20 per person,
will include one drink and admission to the party. Additional drinks and appetizers will also be available for purchase.
For those looking to elevate their evening, a VIP experience will be held in The Loft at 1717, offering an exclusive view of the action below. Tickets, priced at $100 per person, will include access to an open bar with a private bartender, small bites and a “Cupid is Stupid” T-shirt. Space for the VIP experience is limited to only 40 guests.
